Following the adoption of the Law on Higher Education, the first cycle study program - Plant Production was licensed. During the first cycle studies, a student receives all necessary theoretical and practical knowledge of plant production in general as well as of other agricultural fields accompanying this production.
Teaching in the first cycle of Plants Production Studies is carried out in four courses - Pomology and Viticulture, Field and Vegetable Crops, Plant Protection and Horticulture - each lasting six semesters. In the fifth and sixth semesters, the students acquire right to choose optional modules. At the end of the first cycle study, students are admitted to the preparation and defense of the final work, which carries 10 ECTS credits (European Credit Transfer System) by which a student, on completion of the study, gains 180 ECTS credits in total.
